The Good:  I must admit, I love my carbs! Pasta melts my heart, bread is warms my soul, and warm pretzels…oh that is my ultimate weakness!  Seriously, who doesn’t love a delicious Bavarian pretzel dipped into a cool creamy dip?!

When Brēzel opened up in North Market…I couldn’t wait to check them out.  Sam and I dropped by this summer before a concert…I ran to the back of the market eager for my first taste!  The ladies  just pulled a fresh batch out of the oven – ohhh the scent that filled the air!! I went with the original w/ a side of mustard…Sam went with the jalapeno w/ a side of spicy cream cheese dip.   

Yes, it was love at first bite…the pretzel was chewy, delicious, and the flavor was amazing! I’ve had quite few varieties, but keep going back to the original. Dip wise – I must admit, I am a melted cheese girl, but Brēzel does not offer one! Relax you cheese fans…the dips they offer are just as delicious! I do enjoy the mustard dip….but their cream cheese spreads are incredible…I enjoy the spicy chipotle and the flavorful Southwest dips…they both offer quite a kick!

The Bad: Not one thing!

The Final Verdict:  Brēzel takes pretzels to another level! Since our first taste we have visited quite a few times…yes…we are officially fans :)  They are simply delicious!  The flavors – original, jalapeno, apple cinnamon, cinnamon sugar, onion, artichoke/garlic/kalamata olive, tomato/basil, habanero, everything, and one of my favorites…rosemary/garlic! They also offer pretzel buns, bites, and twists. In addition…the owners recently rolled out ready to bake pretzels…pop them in the oven for 10 mins and enjoy! Maria and Brittany…thank you for bringing the best pretzels I have ever had to Columbus! Can’t wait to see what flavors you guys will come up with next!
